Background

James Branding is an independent consultancy with international and regional Middle East experience and a deep understanding of brands and exactly how to craft them – whether your brand needs a new look or a better direction.

With limited coverage in the natural results of Google and a site designed purely for desktops, 2able were asked to propose a solution that would address this.

Brief

James Branding wanted to update its website content/design and improve its SEO ranking in order to enhance its presence and reach a wider audience in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. A responsive website that worked on all size devices was crucial.

Strategy

The 2able approach initially focused on the following key areas:

Fast & Reliable Hosting – Following an unreliable service with their previous provider, we advised on a dedicated server solution and migrated their website across. Google likes fast websites that are reliable.

 

 

Solution

Extensive Keyword Research – Using the Google Keyword Planner, we uncovered numerous search terms that were both popular & relevant.

Responsive Website Design (RWD) – Visitors appreciate websites that work well on all devices (desktops, tablets, mobiles), and this is in turn is rewarded by Google, so we produced a fully-responsive website.

Optimisation of Key Pages – Armed with our keyword research, we made sure that these were strategically placed throughout the website. Getting the right keywords in the right places ensures optimal success on Google.

Social Media – Another fundamental step for first page coverage is having active social media campaigns. We advised on the continued promotion across Facebook, Twitter and Google+, with Pinterest soon to follow.

Plans for a link building campaign are also on the agenda.

 

Results

Since the new site went live exposure on Google for unbranded, target keywords grew 795% in the first 2 weeks of going live:
